I signed up for this site just to compare wordpress.com to WordPress MU (now just WordPress with the multisite feature in 3.0) . I manage a couple multisite sites at work and wanted to see the differences. Occasionally the theme will change, or the sidebar widgets, as I’m trying things out. I’d say don’t freak out, but you’re free to do as you please.
